So I’ve been doing a lot of reading today when I really should be working (kinda a bit late on my deadline) and have been reading a lot of articles on racism (Jeremy Lin, Danny Chen) and also women in comics which both have been such a hot topic on my Twitter and Tumblr feeds, both of which touches on in-equality. I’m not really here to share my thoughts or feelings on the subjects other than to share a nice article written by my former editor for Red Robin Janelle Asselin which got me thinking about my part and responsibilities being apart of the comics community. I feel that with her sharing her experiences it helps shine some light into seeing and understanding the point of view of others. I hope you all take some time to have a quick read:
