“Bunny Sushi”

Color pencil on marker paper - 11”x17”

I’m not totally sure where I came up with the idea for this, but one day I saw a picture of a bento box where the sushi had faces and I thought it would be cuter if they had ears. Then, when I started to draw it I thought it would be super cute if the sushi was actual bunnies holding the fish and in place of the fish.  I sold this print at the Toronto Fan Expo in 2011 and got a huge positive response, although many people were a bit disturbed.  I even had a couple people from sushi restaurants buy it to hang up in their kitchens.
